According to the pictures I have, today I made it out the last of the big overhangs. Once I turn the corner on a vertical crack just above my high point, I’ll finally be able to see the final headwall leading to the summit.
In typical goofball fashion, the FA team has just drilled bashies all the way so far. So, it’s been the typical project to fix this mess. Slow going!
But, I think (I hope) I can be done with the ascent in the next couple of days. Then, because this thing is a tower, it becomes the descent project. But, that’s getting ahead of myself. For now, I just need to get to the top, and that’s smelling pretty close.
