Good, clean fun lowering all my bivy stuff to the ground 600 feet. But with Dana’s help, a few hours of work got that done. Then, the rap anchors I had established came into good use, and I was able to rap the whole thing to the ground very quickly and without the slightest hitch. This is a sweet rap-route down the NW face at this point! It felt really good to see all the planning of that rap-route pay off as it did.
Dana and I moved a load of gear down to the cars, leaving a still-daunting pile at the base. But Rocky is coming out tonight to help us get the rest out tomorrow. He’s the man!
